I am looking forward to going to Brazil this summer! I have been hoping to go on an overseas short term mission trip for a couple years, but the timing of other chances I’ve had to go hasn’t worked out. After seeing how God moved through other members of NXT Gen last summer in Mongolia, I was amazed at what God did through such a small group of young people in a completely new culture and and felt a longing to be a part of it firsthand. This trip specifically, however, took a bit of a step of faith for me, as my summer schedule was much more uncertain this year than in years past. I prayed  and talked with other Christians about this trip, and God opened the door for me to go, so I am walking through it, trusting him to work even in my weakness and uncertainty. I am excited to get to serve with Ben and am praying that we will be an encouragement and support to his ministry in Brazil and point people to Jesus.
