I’ve been studying at Liberty University, and I’m currently in my Junior year of nursing! These past few weeks have already been so busy and challenging, but also really sweet. During my clinicals this weekend, there were so many moments in the hospital that reminded me why I’m doing this. Holding newborns, taking care of patients, talking with them and learning how to take care of them; It’s worth the early mornings and long shifts if it means showing up and listening to a patient, giving them the care they deserve, and wanting them to know the One who loves them. Being a nursing student has been both challenging and rewarding, but the gratitude for the small moments of showing up for patients during clinicals has been my drive to overcome the challenges. I can only say that the Lord has put this desire in my heart, and He is the source of strength that has brought me to where I am right now. 

He has also put a passion on my heart for overseas missions. Throughout these past several years, He has made a way for me to go across the world and experience His work in different countries. All of these experiences have increased my heart for God and what He is doing across the nations. 

For a while, God has put a desire in my heart to go to Africa. This has been something that I have wanted to do since I was younger, and he recently opened up the opportunity for me to go to Kenya!
