Hi, I’m Payton , a freshman at Evangel University in Springfield, MO, currently studying Pre-Med (biology) with a minor in Biblical Studies. This is from the last few years been following a call on my life to be a missionary to specifically unreached people groups around the world.

Over the last few years, I’ve had an amazing opportunity to serve alongside, meet, and be part of an organization called Cup of Cold Water Ministries, a ministry sending ministry. This past semester at my college I’ve been burdened by the Lord to go on my 2nd mission’s trip this summer.

Originally, I was looking to go on a CCWM trip to Bolivia for a medical missions trip, but due to the poor timing of my school schedule, that wasn’t going to happen this semester. Though it is still on my radar in the future and a later goal as the Lord calls! Now, I had heard of a trip to Mongolia that CCWM’s NxtGen Ministry was going to start praying about.

In the meantime, I had to write a paper and do a video for my intercultural studies class, which ended up being on Mongolia, due to assignment specifications. Part of the assignment was that I had to give an idea of how I personally would reach Mongolia… this caused an interesting burden for a place I’ve never been. I wanted to be among the people. Bringing the encouragement and grace of the Gospel to the people of Mongolia who’ve never heard the good news that Jesus had come for them all those 2000 years ago.

So, this is the trip:

To be among the people of a village in the Southern Gobi Desert of Mongolia, where the name of Jesus has not yet been heard. Doing an outreach, sparking a church, starting a place for the Gospel to grow and thrive. What an amazing opportunity to give a wonderful gift to this community, the Gospel.

But we need support. Firstly, we need prayers, for the people who are going on the trip, for our hearts, for more specified strategy working with our in-country missionaries, and for the village in the South Gobi we are reaching to. Secondly, I’d love to have you prayerfully partner with me by financially sending me to this place. I have goal of $4000 to be raised before the trip. With a $2000 dollar goal to be reached by March 1st. Thank you to all of those who will pray for this trip and donate for this work to be done.
