1. Audio Bibles are a need in South Asia due to illiteracy. YS facilitates the distribution of Audio Bibles free of cost depending on donations received. Because audio Bibles are in high demand but costly and not easy to ship, distribution is limited to a known pastor or foreign worker who has individuals in their churches that need them.
2. Online and in person Bible studies with seekers in and from closed access nations. The scope of these studies reaches outside South Asia. YS does weekly and monthly Bible studies with ladies whose hearts are open. This is a slow process as most of the ladies have no prior Bible knowledge and come with another worldview.
3. Mobilization. Is the Lord calling you? If so, YS would love to talk to you and help you get connected in some way…either with CCWM or any other avenue! She has also done trainings on reaching neighbors for Christ in USA and online.
4. Discipleship, Prayer and Listening. Many people in this part of the world go through high levels of drama and trauma, church abuse, and persecution for their faith. YS gets weekly texts and calls from many asking for friendship, advice, prayer, and emotional support. She has a heart to build up the health of the church in South Asia.
5. Women’s conferences. The truth sets people free! YS started conference speaking due to the shortage of conference speakers willing to tackle taboo topics. When the Lord brings things into the light there are many tears but healing also.
6. Village Outreach. Due to being the area of the world with the most UPGs, YS encourages and often travels with locals wanting to reach their native village. She and the locals will discuss/brainstorm ways to reach their village together. It’s a team effort!
7. Food Distribution: started during COVID because of food shortages and starvation, YS and her family continue distributing food monthly through a local church in one impoverished area.
8. And many other things…the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few so every missionary has to wear many hats and keep learning!

What God Did Over Breakfast: South Asia - A CCWM Story From The Field
1. YS would like the seekers that she is studying the Bible with to be drawn by God into a relationship with him. She would like them to understand the gospel and God‘s love for them. She would like them to meet local believers in their area. Please pray with her for these things.
2. There is a very remote village, where the people just heard for the first time that God created them and loves them. YS hopes that God would continue the work in their hearts. And that He would help YS and the local believers to obtain a portable projector (and get it to the right location) in order to show the Jesus film in the future. Please pray with her and the local believers for follow up in this village.
3. An order of Audio Bibles is being shipped to a country. She hopes that the order will reach the intended destination, and that everyone who is waiting for Audio Bibles will be able to receive them. Please pray with her for all these logistical details.
4. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, especially in all of Asia. YS is praying that God use creative means to call and send people to Asia. Please pray with her that God would send out more workers.
5. YS is praying for God’s church in the West, and also in the East into a season of repentance and coming back to God. (Christians often say that persecution purifies the church. However, from personal experience, YS has not noticed that persecution necessarily brings maturity, healing, or virtuous character.) Please pray with her for repentance, growth, and healing in God’s church
6. YS is praying for a few more regular monthly supporters. Please pray with her that God would send senders to her who would give from their hearts and not under any sense of compulsion.
7. YS is praying to overcome red tape. Please pray with her that she receive a long awaited answer.
8. Please pray for YS physical health, strength, and balance as she needs to improve her physical health in order to go back into rugged areas.
9. Pray for YS family, that God would meet their needs while she is away and even when she is with them
10. Please pray for YS that she would not become so busy in doing God‘s work that she forgets time with God and receiving his love for herself.
