How Do You Connect To Missions?
When I was grade school age my family hosted a family from India for several days. Several years later another family stayed with my family for several days. These were events sponsored by the church we attended. They made me aware that in many places in the world the Christian faith was also known about by other people, but not wide spread.
What do you hope to bring to Cup of Cold Water Ministries?
I am keenly aware that for all the “good” things a person or organization might do, one wrong move or action can/will destroy any good reputation you might enjoy. So, we need to be in constant vigil of our words and actions to insure we always honor our Lord so that our witness does not loose credibility. This also filters back to each individual who associates with CCWM. Our personal responsibility to honor our Lord.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
People serving under the covering of CCWM that are serving in their native country. I consider that to be a more powerful witness that the “outsider” who witnesses to others in a country not their own.

How Do You Connect To Missions?
I have participated in many various short term mission trips since a young age. I love ministry workers and I love connecting to the bigger broader community of Christians in all various countries and nationalities. It is important to be connected and engaged in all of the big things Jesus is doing globally.
What do you hope to bring to Cup of Cold Water Ministries? Having short term field experience I understand first hand how difficult it is sometimes to go from a call placed on your life by God and working into action. Although I am not a missionary, my hope is that through my leadership, I can help provide accountability & prayerfully, financially, lovingly, and collectively work as a team to aid individuals to go where God has called them to go & do. Our goal as leadership is the same goal as our ministry partners; which is to share The Gospel message and make disciples who make disciples!
"And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers" Luke 10:2

How Do You Connect To Missions?
My connection to missions began while hearing from missionaries at churches where my husband served as pastor, until we heard of an English-speaking mission church in La Paz, Bolivia needing a pastor; we were both thrilled to go to the mission field to serve there for a year, and truly wish it could have been longer.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
By serving on the CCWM Board, I have an opportunity to continue to be directly involved in mission work: even though my husband and I are no longer on the field, I can actively support and encourage those whom God has sent out on the mission field. Although our time in Bolivia was not as intense or sacrificial as many of our Cup Ministry Leaders experience, I have a great appreciation of their many challenges and spiritual needs.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
What excites me about working with CCWM is the world-wide impact of sharing the Gospel due to having Ministry Leaders in so many different countries. Seeing God working among so many different people groups in each country reached and by inspiring generous donors here in the States to support His great work is a thrill and inspiration!

How Do You Connect To Missions?
I got connected initially to missions through a missionary from our church when I was in my late twenties. That person shared his calling and my family began to stay in touch with him as he moved out to the field. That led to other “connections” that continued to draw me into prayer for those willing to answer their call.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
I’ve served on the Cup board for over 30 years now. I had no idea what I could bring to the Cup team when I first responded to an invitation to come on to the board. But, God revealed to me those areas that I was comfortable in helping with. Eventually leadership training at my secular career and at church made it comfortable to answer His call to higher leadership positions that involved training and developing others to find their calling. I expect to relinquish the reins over the next few years but remain a vital prayer warrior until called home.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
I continue to be amazed at the quality of candidates that God has called to explore missionary service via CCWM. It is a thrilling experience to be part of helping those candidates answer that call and find their place on the field making disciples who make disciples.

How Do You Connect To Missions?
I heard of Cup Of Cold Water as a child . My grandparents supported cup many years ago and are passed on now . I knew deep down the next generation needed to keep cup alive and growing.
I am honored to be part of the next generation to support such an honest, God loving, faithful ministry.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
I’m not a missionary. I’ve never even been on a missionary trip. I can’t even begin to imagine how faithful and obedient they are. I’m more I’ve a silent partner who prays for different individuals involved with cup. Out in the field or back her at home working diligently behind the scenes. Thank you to those behind the desk and out in the streets. My heart is grateful to all!!!
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
One thing that excites me about CCWM is seeing how God works with people. The obedience is absolutely beautiful! The realization of being called by our one true God and getting up to follow his word. Faith of a mustard seed!!! Go where he sends you... unconditionally!!! No promises it will be easy. No promises for your safety . No promises or guarantees for anything. Just pure obedience.

How Do You Connect To Missions?
In 1989 the kids at summer VBS raised money to send “someone” to Mali, West Africa on a week-long “MISSION VISION TOUR” with Campus Crusade for Christ. After a few weeks of helping the church leaders search for the someone to go, it became apparent that it was me. “Here I am Lord; send me!” Since then, I’ve gone on about 20 short term mission trips, mostly in Mexico and in Uganda, East Africa.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
I love to bring encouragement to serve according to God’s gifting (talents & abilities) and as evidenced by fruits of the Spirit, especially Peace and Joy.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
Excellence in communicating the many and varied stories from the field. This excites me because it connects the ministry leaders with their “senders” in ways that honor God and grow His Kingdom.

How Do You Connect To Missions?
I served with CCWM for eight years as a missionary to Mongolia, along with my husband Troy and four children. Missions has been a part of my heart since I was eleven years old and first called to missions at a summer church camp.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
My desire is to bring missions alive to the local church, to create a growing, thriving atmosphere where missions is possible for those who perhaps think it is not. I hope to help facilitate missions conversations that bring people to an understanding that the call to Go is still very real and necessary to obey.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
CCWM stands out to me above most mission organizations as one that truly believes God can call anyone to missions. The team and board strives to listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit regarding the vetting process of new ministry leaders and invests in knowing our ministry leaders well. The ministry leaders take priority over their ministry at CCWM. It’s all about helping the people who go.

How Do You Connect To Missions?
I have enjoyed working at Pine Ridge Christian Center for many years at concerts, programs, workshops, and campground maintenance. However, it wasn’t until I agreed to be on the board that I fully understood the impact this ministry has on changing the lives of so many people in so many places. I have met missionaries, families and friends of the missionaries, and other supporters of this ministry, as well as staff and their families. This ministry is God connected from top to bottom.
What Do You Hope To Bring To Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
First and foremost, I am in awe of the history and the humble beginnings of this ministry. The vision, the passion, the dedication and Godly obedience of Odell and Margarete Kittleson, Lowell and Marge Larson, the members of the first board, the builders of the VAMPTI, and the staff, leaders, and volunteers, that made this ministry what it is today. So my only prayer is that God would in some way, bless my humble efforts to support the great missionaries in the field today.
What Excites You About Cup Of Cold Water Ministries?
How I see God blessing this ministry in countless ways, from the stories of sacrifices and dedication of the ministry leaders in the field, to the faithful prayers and financial support of people throughout the world, AND the glue that ties it all together....the staff. Disciples making Disciples, people helping people, to go where God wants them to go.
