NEXT STEPS:

  • Don't forget these things

    A Bible (not on your phone)

    Notebook & pen

    Toiletries for self care

    Towel

    Sleeping bag & pillow

    Blanket or lawn chair to sit on by campfire

    Any medications in their original containers (not in baggies) & instructions if necessary.

    Appropriate clothing for being outdoors in the woods, on trails. (Bring extra in case you get wet!!) Long pants for the woods to avoid poison Ivy!

    Bug & tick spray

    Sunscreen

    Appropriate clothing for sports if you intend to play (basketball, volleyball, etc.)

    Appropriate pajamas

    Athletic shoes

    Outdoor shoes

    Appropriate clothing to make a mess in (scavenger hunt, obstacle course, etc.)

    Umbrella if rain is predicted

    Preferred snacks (we provide all food & drink but this is extra if you’d like)

    Flashlight

    Refillable water bottle

    Cash if you would like to purchase something extra from concessions!

  • Forget these things

    Dress clothing is not necessary; this is a casual event!

    Books other than the Bible

    Alcohol, tobacco, vape, drugs of any kind.

  • You will have your first experience of church support!

    Local churches have offered to bring in your meals for you. They have donated their time, talent and money to support you as you attend the YES Retreat!

    Drinks, snacks and breakfast are provided by CCWM. If you have special dietary restrictions we ask that you bring in your own meals.

  • We want you to practice your own self discipline. We will not be restricting phone usage or taking phones away. It is our hope that you will decide on your own to limit your use of social media and technology while attending the YES Retreat but it will not be a rule.
