What will a typical Sender group look like?
You’ll meet once a month on zoom. Chotter will be joining you to get the zoom started. He will share with you all more personal updates about the month in order to provide you the necessary info to speak into his life, pray over her and support him on a deeper level.
The Schedule will look similar to this:
8:00pm Sender Group joins together on Zoom Devotions
8:10 Chotter welcomes his Senders and gives an update on his month. Senders should actively respond to Chotter by asking questions, giving words of encouragement, scripture or anything else they feel may support him.
8:30 Prayer The Sender Group will join in prayer together over Chotter’s current needs.
8:40Action Step The Sender Group will brain storm and plan for the best action step to take to support Chotter this month.
8:45 Close The Sender Group will close in prayer.
Consider your Sender Group Role
The following roles are open for Chotter’s Sender Group. Please look over them and choose one that you feel best suits your gifting.
Friendly Reminder Lead
This person is responsible to send Chotter’s Sender Group reminder text, and links for each meeting once per month. They will be provided with a roster of the group’s info.
Devotions Lead
This person will be responsible to bring a devotion to the group each month. They will be the one responsible to get the group focused and started. The devotion should be around 5-8 minutes long with discussion time allowed after.
Prayer Lead
This person will be responsible to lead in prayer after Chotter shares. They will help the group focus together to agree in prayer. They do not have to be the only one praying, but they are responsible to start and finish the prayer time. A good amount of time to set aside to pray together is 10 min.
Action Step Lead
This person is responsible to lead in helping the Senders create an action step for the month that they feel will help to support Chotter. They do not need to be the one always coming up with the idea, but they are responsible to lead the Senders in this and help to promote implementation. Examples of action steps: Committing to pray for the specific need Chotter expressed for five minutes a day, pulling together to raise support or awareness of a specific Chotter expressed.
Action Step Participant
This person is responsible to follow the Action Step Lead by engaging in conversation related to investigating how the Sender group can help to support / pray for / plan a tangible method of supporting Chotter with his expressed need, struggle and or prayer request.
Closing Lead
This person is responsible to close the group and remind everyone of the upcoming Sender Group time and date!
