Tuvsho
CCWM ministry worker, Tuvsho, was the first recipient of the CCWM Next Generation Scholarship, graduated from Wheaton College in 2018, and returned to Mongolia to begin her ministry with the youth who are aging out of the state orphanages.
Tuvsho has begun a mentoring ministry with a goal to build a home for youth, leaving the state orphanages who do not have a family to support them.
Desert Rose Girls Shelter
Desert Rose was founded by CCWM missionary Mary Patterson in 2007. Mary had a heart to reach girls that were living on the street.
The project was passed to CCWM missionary Shari Tvrdik in 2011. The Desert Rose Shelter has been a ground breaking project, the first of it’s kind in Mongolia, focusing on a smaller number of girls in order to break away from institutionalizing, instead creating a family atmosphere for the girls.
