A level 2 STM is not necessarily SAFE or Easy, however, you will be stretched a bit with possible outdoor sleeping, outdoor bathrooms, roughing it without running water. There will be a considerable amount of walking and hiking on a level 2 STM..

Our Amazon Basin, Bolivia STM is a Level 2 trip. While we can not guarantee it will be safe or easy, there is guaranteed significant physical stress. You will be stretched with possible outdoor sleeping, outdoor bathrooms, roughing it without running water. There will be a considerable amount of walking and hiking on a level 2 STM. Significant stresses we can not control include heat / high level of humidity and mosquitoes. We do not recommend this trip for those with mobility restrictions or strong aversion/low tolerance to the elements of nature. Keep in mind, your tolerance level affects an entire team. Do not sign up for this STM if you are not able to “take one for the team.”

Our Amazon Tributaries Bolivia STM connects us with CCWM Missionaries Felipe Kittelson, Mauricio Meneses, Andrew Kittelson and Dr. Phil Kittelson who will be taking us along the tributaries to remote villages along the Mamore and Isiboro Rivers to bring the Gospel and spiritual encouragement , as well as healthcare to remote villages with very limited access to large towns, hospitals or medical clinics. This trip will likely be spent on a boat as well as on land. The need for this trip includes a need for doctors, surgeons, nurses, dentist and people who are willing to work with children as well.
