Ron and Rhonda Haynes became full-time missionaries in 2008 when they formed Lovely Feet Ministries (LFM) and left for La Paz, Bolivia where they first encountered ministry leaders of Cup of Cold Water.
Prior to becoming missionaries, Ron was an attorney fighting for equal justice for the poor, while Rhonda worked as an information analyst. LFM started with a love for the people of Bolivia, and over the years, that love has extended to Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Uganda, South Korea, and now Guam and Micronesia. Through the years the geography has changed, but the mission of LFM remains the same, to make disciples who make disciples. Eventually the two served in Guam ministering primarily to Micronesians teach English, mission, theology, and Bible part-time at Pacific Islands University (PIU), a small liberal arts university that targets the marginalized and underserved of Micronesia through Christian education.
Today Rhonda is continuing her doctoral research on theological education in the USA while Ron is serving as pastor of Saron United Church of Christ in Linton Indiana.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."
